I am extremely pleased to tell you that Griffith lodge continues to be one of the premiere lodges in the state. Even in the time of declining memberships in fraternal organizations, Griffith lodge experienced a membership gain this past year. How is this possible ? It was made possible due to the plain hard work of the officers and members. It was made possible because our members made it a point to tell their friends and relatives about the value and importance of our organization in a time when the values of morality, ethical behavior, and true fellowship are sorely needed. We are attracting a greater number of younger men because they are looking for a positive structure in regard to society. They are not looking for associations with those who, with total disregard for civility and moral conduct, flaunt the privileges and freedoms rooted in honor, spiritual commitment, brotherly love and truth. This they have found in our Masonic Lodge. Here they have found that there are other men who believe in the importance of these values and are passing their beliefs on to others who will continue these good works.
